Vocal dynamo Bobby McFerrin playfully defies genre across his live cuts, covers and collaborations. His a cappella reimagining of Cream's “Sunshine of Your Love” retains all the swagger of the original, while “I Hear Music” dabbles in winking call-and-response. He teams up with classical cellist Yo-Yo Ma for the gorgeous melodic glide and slide of “Grace” and with jazz pianist Chick Corea to overhaul the well-trodden ballad “Autumn Leaves”.
