Beyond Bo Diddley's raw, revolutionary riffs and barnstorming beat, he's always had a huge sense of humour. The appropriately titled "Funny Talk" is basically a comedy routine set to a rock 'n' roll stomp, while cartoonish voices punctuate verses full of absurd imagery on the giddy "Oh Yeah", and "Sneakers On a Rooster" finds a way to fit a willfully goofy simile smack at the centre of a spurned-lover blues tune.
