In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the earliest memories of Prosper was when we first formed as a band. We met on a random Saturday one weekend, wrote a song, and then performed it at youth group the next day. It was very well received and it encouraged us to continue. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blindside, A Thought Crushed My Mind Bonus Track Version Deftones, Adrenaline Hum, You'd Prefer an Astronaut All 3 of these albums had a huge impact on all of us as a band. Deftones completely changed the way we listened to music. You'd Prefer an Astronaut was the tone we strived to create. Blindside was a major influence to us musically and spiritually. Tell us why you chose this song. “Davenport” Davenport is one of those songs that always hits the heart when I hear it. When we wrote it, it was probably the quickest song that we as a band fell in love with. It just felt natural and contains all of what Prosper was about as a band. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are many memories of when we were a band and these will live on forever even those days are over. Being a Christian band, Prosper always paired music and our faith in a powerful way to bring glory to God. That was always the goal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To play one more show with our original lineup! Prosper reunion show! Look for it in the fall of 2023.
