I didn't learn anything, ha, but was the class clown. Years later I play guitar full time and intentionally highlight humor and joy in my work. Adele, 25 Emeli Sandé, Our Version of Events MAJOR., Even More When you can combine storytelling, emotive vocals, vulnerable lyrics, perfectly executed piano arrangements AND high energy percussion that is mixed to near perfection? Tell us why you chose this song. “Keep Goin” I wanted to write and produce something that felt like the years I would play my guitar and sing in coffee shops. I imagined the verses being a moment to passively listen while the chorus causes you to stop, listen and connect with the lyrics. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Just weeks before my finals as a college senior, I walked the red carpet as a GRAMMY nominee and accepted the New Artist of the Year award at The Dove Awards. I had just turned 20 years old and was blown away that I was living my wildest dreams. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I can't wait to do another headlining tour and am looking forward to the opening of my studio @TheWonderSpaceATL!
