Away from South Africa and deeply homesick, the nine year old me found an album by the cross-over band Juluka...this music not only cured my homesickness but also lit a fire in me for the styles of Maskanda and Mbaqanga (Township Jive). Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend – The Best of Bob Marley & The Wailers (2002 Edition) Johnny Clegg, Juluka, The Best of Johnny Clegg - Juluka & Savuka Paul Simon, Graceland Graceland opened the door internationally to the magic of South African music. The result was using Hot Water's infectious song WAMKELEKILE as the movie soundtrack.
