An instrumental electronic side project of the Ben Folds Five's eponymous piano-playing frontman, Fear of Pop also included the group's producer, Caleb Southern, as well as Flemming & John member John Marc Painter. Their debut LP Fear of Pop Volume 1 appeared in late 1998. ~ Jason Ankeny
