Rapper Domino, born Shawn Antoine Ivy, was a former member of the Crips from Long Beach, California. His 1993 debut DOMINO fell comfortably into the then-current West Coast gangsta rap sound as perfected on Dr. Dre's THE CHRONIC and featured the Top 10 hit "Getto Jam." Further albums followed, including 1996's PHYSICAL FUNK, 1997's DOMINOLOGY, 1999's REMEMBER ME?, 2001's D-FREAKED IT, and 2004's DOMINATION. Domino should not be confused with the similarly-nicknamed producer who works with Oakland's alternative hip-hop collective Hieroglyphics.
