About Damien Sebe

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when I was around the age of 12 I started writing my own little raps because I was inspired by some of the child stars making music and I thought to myself, "Well if they can do it, so can I". What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lil Wayne, Tha Carter III L’indécis, Playtime / Plethoria XXXTENTACION, 17 There's a time I only listened to Lil' Wayne so he definitely deserves a mention. When I started making Lo-Fi/Chill Beats, Playtime inspired me to keep making beats. 17 just connected with me because it almost it felt like how I felt at the time. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Goddess Is Watching Over” This song was inspired by a late friend of mine. She came into my life at like, the right time. She was really there for me, supported everything I tried, cheered me on. She was such happy, positive and funny person to be around. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are a few to choose from but seeing new people share or enjoy my music, and those who reach out to me and let me know their favorite songs is crazy because although I'm not a big artist it lets me know that there are people out there listening. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Other than try to get better and improve where I can. I'd love to release my first album and collaborate with other artists. It would also be great if I can get on my first Apple Music Editorial playlist.
