In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was playing piano at a friend's house when I was 8 or 9 and I got lost in the moment. It wasn't until about 10 minutes later that I noticed his whole family staring at me - that was when I learned that not everyone connects with music as I do. Bon Iver, Bon Iver Radiohead, In Rainbows Sufjan Stevens, Carrie & Lowell Each of these records tells a story, both thematically and sonically; each greatly impacted me as I grew in my artistry. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I remember hearing myself on the radio for the first time, driving my infant son around on a snowy day. I had to pull over because I couldn't stop crying. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have been able to make many records that I am proud of and hope to continue.
