Adventures

About Adventures

Formed in 2012, punkish indie rockers Adventures modeled their sound after the buzzy alt pop of shy '90s wallflower bands, despite sharing three members with the decidedly more aggressive metalcore band Code Orange Kids. Code Orange Kids members Reba Meyers (guitar/vocals), Jami Morgan (drums), and Joe Goldman (bass/vocals) were joined by guitarist Dominic Landolina and keyboardist Kimi Hanauer and quickly released a self-titled debut EP in late 2012. Originally signed to small label No Sleep Records, the band issued two EPs and two split singles with both Pity Sex and Run Forever before signing to Run for Cover Records for the release of their 2015 full-length debut Supersonic Home. ~ Fred Thomas
