As a drummer and percussionist of real repute, Kasper Winding was on-call throughout the ‘70s for pop and rock royalty, including ABBA, The Rolling Stones and Barry White, before exploring composition in film soundtracks. This lit a creative flame as Winding came into his own as a solo artist and songwriter. He enjoyed a big hit with “Sjæl I Flammer” in 1987, which typifies his gentle, bubbling pop rhythms and smooth vocals influenced by soaring soft rock. Now an in-demand producer, he's worked with and remixed a new generation of fellow Danish artists, including Mew and Efterklang.
