About Tulsi Kumar
Tulsi Kumar is an Indian playback singer who has performed songs for more than 75 Bollywood films. ∙ In 1983, her late father, Gulshan Kumar, founded T-Series, India’s largest record label and an influential movie studio. ∙ She made her playback singing debut with the song “Mohabbat Ke,” from 2006’s romantic thriller Aksar, which featured one of India’s best-selling soundtracks that year. ∙ In 2009, she released her debut pop album, Love Ho Jaaye, and she starred in the music video for the lead single, “Radhe Shyam.” ∙ Kumar earned her first breakout hit in 2010 with “Tum Jo Aaye,” a duet with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan that was included in the 2010 crime film Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai. ∙ At the 2017 International Indian Film Academy Awards, Kumar received Best Female Playback Singer honors for her song “Soch Na Sake,” from the 2016 war film Airlift.
