About Pusaka

Pusaka emerged in 1999 when one of the top-selling female DJs in the U.S. known as DJ Irene started collaborating with Chris Cox from the remix/production duo Thunderpuss. The club/dance project debuted with "Something Hard," which was featured on the compilation Teckno 1.0. The Top 40 Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart "Praise the DJ" followed soon after. In 2001, Pusaka teamed up with ex-Snap lead singer and dance music diva Thea Austin before issuing "You're the Worst Thing for Me," featured on the Megahit Records collection Teckno 2.0. That chart-topping song achieved the Best Underground 12" Award at Miami's Winter Music Conference in March 2002. ~ Drago Bonacich
