In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in an inner city apartment opposite a taxi rank to the South Coast. Drivers would play a variety of Maskandi, Jazz and mainstream hits in the early hours. My earliest memories are rooted there, in church and my family's music collections. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blu, Blu & Exile, Exile, Below The Heavens Saba, CARE FOR ME 2018-2022 were some of the hardest times in my personal life. I enjoyed albums that got me through those moments to help feel things through to completion. Hearing a lyric resonate in real-time while revisiting music is priceless this way for me. Lisa Mbali)” BALANCE came with understanding my voice recording as an artist, after years of feeling more comfortable performing live. It's also the song I was looking for during a time when the songs I shortlisted for my album, weren't flowing in sequence.
