About Loski

Drake-approved South London rapper Loski has emerged as a leader of the UK drill scene. • Loski grew up in South London’s Kennington section. The son of 2000s-era rapper TY Nizzy, he started out using the moniker YNizzy. • He was tied to the Harlem Spartans collective, which released his early songs. • In his mid-teens, Loski was arrested for drug possession and unlicensed possession of a shotgun. • After a lengthy stay behind bars, Loski shifted his attention to music. He found success with 2017’s “Teddy Bruckshot” and “Money & Beef”, both of which streamed in the millions. • Loski signed to the Sony-backed label Since ’93, where he has released several albums. His 2020 release Music, Trial & Trauma: A Drill Story cemented his place in the UK drill scene. • In 2018, Drake credited Loski’s just-released Call Me Loose album—alongside 2pac, Biggie and Lil Baby projects—as inspiration for his own blockbuster album Scorpion. Drake appeared on stage during Loski’s O2 Kentish Town Forum concert in London in 2019.
