In the '70s, grupera exploded in Mexico, as a new wave of artists combined the traditional rhythms of cumbia, ranchera and norteño with fiery rock and pop from north of the border. Grupera became an international phenomenon in the '80s thanks to passionate combos like Los Temerarios, Los Yonic's, Bronco and Los Bukis, and this collection features the romantic ballads that made them superstars.
