In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is my sister and I singing in church together. If it wasn't for my sister I would not have the confidence that I do now to sing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Esthero, Breath from Another Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE Karen Clark Sheard, Finally Karen All 3 help me understand who I am as a person and individual. All changed my life in different ways and made me realize how important it is to create your moment in music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hello, New Me” I dedicated this song to my mother that passed in 2016. It is my highest rated song and it makes me so happy that people still connect to music that is authentic. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would say singing with Ari Lennox on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. It was such a beautiful experience to sing background on a platform like that. I am forever grateful. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to work with Tyler, The Creator and perform as an artist at the prestigious Carnegie Hall. It would be really cool to work with Frank Ocean as well, or even The Clark Sisters.
