From telecoms engineering to the Latin Grammys, Cristian Quirante has travelled a winding road to stardom. As a musician he cut his teeth playing guitar in high-school grunge bands before moving behind the boards to drop his first EP as a producer in 2011. Alongside collaborations with C. Tangana, Iyeball and others, Alizzz has found his own niche in electronic experimentation. Between the calm depths of “Turquoise” and the dramatic distortion that gives “Ya no siento nada” its raw, distressed edges, Alizzz forges dance-floor anthems to thrum through your body.
