Under the alias of SOULFIA, Chilean vocalist Sofía Walker found a middle ground between the smooth sounds of contemporary R&B and the impassioned styles of the urbano umbrella. Having developed an interest in piano and singing at the age of just five, she transitioned her childhood ambitions into a full-blown career in the early 2020s, debuting with 2019's "Toda la Noche" before expanding her catalog through 2020. In 2021, she released her debut EP, GÉNESIS, a collection of sultry anthems that folded traditional Latin rhythms into modern styles including reggaeton, pop, and trap.
