Novas

A Texas band of the mid-'60s, the Novas offered a brand of garage rock that was more cleanly executed and melodious than most, mixing some folk-pop/rock originals with faithful covers of the day's British Invasion hits. An album's worth of material was reissued in 1996. ~ Richie Unterberger
