The Brazilian expatriate salutes A&M label head Herb Alpert by fusing the Tijuana Brass track "Spanish Flea" to bossa standard "One Note Samba". Mendes subjects The Beatles' "Norwegian Wood" to a totally swinging gender reversal, later opting to cover MPB star Jorge Ben's "País Tropical" in the Nuyorican boogaloo style.
