After posting videos of himself rapping on social media, a teenaged Enes Meral—aka MERO—caught the attention of Deutschrap mogul Xatar, who quickly snapped up the young talent for his Groove Attack label. Shortly thereafter, MERO’s 2018 debut single “Baller los” took off in the charts and on the socials, launching the emcee into the mainstream.
