Soul guru Aloe Blacc leads a gospel-inspired emotional charge on 2019’s “Better Than Ever”, while Giselle brings an airy, relatable yearning to 2010’s debut single “Crave You”. In both cases, Flight Facilities subtly bolster their guests, proving nimble and adaptive without sacrificing their streamlined percolation and knowing funk/disco callbacks.
