The Gurdjieff Folk Instrument Ensemble

About The Gurdjieff Folk Instrument Ensemble

The Gurdjieff Folk Instruments Ensemble was founded in 2008 by its leader Levon Eskenian to continue the understanding of the roots and performance practice of Eastern European folk and spiritual music that had been pioneered by G.I. Gurdjieff. Its music and instruments spring from Armenian, Greek, Arabian, Kurdish, Assyrian, and Caucasian roots.
