What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chromatics, Kill for Love Cut Copy, In Ghost Colours Orchestral Manoeuvres In the Dark, Architecture & Morality This kind of covers the breadth of my love of retro futuristic pop. There is a darkness inherent in each of them and a complexity that simmers under the bubbling synths. They are albums that I would listen to on repeat. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fire Watch” My whole conceit is reworking and reinterpreting tracks. With Fire Watch I took the basic hook from another track called Water Clock of the Drummers and ran with it. I feel its been my most successful mix in terms of reinventing the original. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at the Concorde 2 in Brighton whilst the next band did a sound check over my set. They had now idea I was playing music... Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would really like to play somewhere outside the UK. Japan is probably top on my list, if they'll have me.
