In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first concert I heard as a child was given by a string orchestra in a cathedral. I remember being mesmerised by Mozart’s music, the illuminated stage, the musicians and their conductor - especially her sparkly top that looked like a starry sky! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Trois Morceaux pour Piano, ILB 8: No. 2. D'un Jardin Clair. Assez vif (B major)” I love how the music captures the feeling of standing in a sunny garden, breathing deeply. The play of sunlight on the leaves, the dappled light filtering through… It slowly changes you until the final phrase rings out: your mind’s at rest. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To make a recording on a Fazioli piano! Also, to perform Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with my favourite orchestra.
