In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. After receiving my first guitar at 10 years old as a gift from my family, I began learning the instrument and discovered a passion for music & songwriting. I began writing and recording my own songs around the age of 14. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Morning Phase Gregory Alan Isakov, The Weatherman Ryan Adams, Ashes & Fire I am deeply inspired by the tones, emotion, and songwriting of these albums just to name a few. I am grateful to have garnered inspiration from many incredible artists through the years. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Our Love” I released this song on my wedding day, as a celebration of love for my wife Natalie, and to always have a memory of that special day. This song will always be special to me. It features live stringed quartet arrangements. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There have been so many incredible moments, from opening for acts like Robert Earl Keen & Lonestar, to recording with CCM artists like Chris Tomlin & Phil Wickham. I have been fortunate to live out many dreams in my career so far. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course –– I would love to tour with some more of my friends and heroes. An opportunity to open for some of my favorite artists would be a dream come true.
