Ezra Furman & The Harpoons

Unabashedly influenced by masters of quirky pop such as Elvis Costello, Talking Heads, and Violent Femmes, singer/guitarist Ezra Furman and his backing ensemble, the Harpoons, specialize in hyper-literate, restless indie rock. Formed at Tufts University in 2006, the Massachusetts-based band revels in a youthful sense of liberation and humor, as evinced by its sophomore outing on Minty Fresh Records, INSIDE THE HUMAN BODY, which was helmed by renowned producer Brian Deck (Iron & Wine, Modest Mouse).
