In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Working with tapes and analog studio gear for electronic music in my early days definitely reshaped my understanding and my taste in composing music. It is a silly song, basic binary rythm, forcing the bass drum lines into the composition, abusing the structure in a weird but simple way, and perfectly fitted to be reinterpreted live by electric analog instruments (highly distorted) in the future. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The joy and high of playing high volume / power live unscripted jazz-metal-funk-electro with analog instruments is probably the most memorable. The feeling, the synergy with the public. But also how a song can be completely transformed by the venue. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Creating another weird jazz-punk-electro trio or quartet (e.g. Youpi, The Stunted, Pornic Muzo) and going back to sounding loud in fun venues.
