Watchhouse: Next Steps

Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange) have taken plenty of creative liberties while remaining an Americana duo at heart. These tracks dance along the grey boundaries of country, folk, bluegrass, and pop, finding Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz slipping between some of their most minimalist melodies to their most atmospheric moments. As much as ever, their honeyed harmonies add a soft, melancholic mist over Marlin's stream-of-consciousness storytelling.
