Verve: Classic Jazz
Apple Music
When jazz impresario Norman Granz founded Verve Records in 1956, his plans were twofold. In addition to new recordings by leading lights like Ella Fitzgerald and Gerry Mulligan, Granz also took advantage of the still relatively new LP format to reissue classic '78 sides from his former labels Clef and Norgran, bringing these important recordings to a whole new audience.
