Tsew The Kid Essentials

Born into a musical family in Paris in late 1996, Tsiry Ralaiarisedy looked destined for a career in music from the outset. As a child he mastered the piano, was a soloist in a gospel choir and taught himself to play guitar. Later, inspired by the likes of Kid Cudi, Bruno Mars and Miguel, he abandoned an economics degree to make music under the name Tsew The Kid, specialising in R&B-inflected hip-hop. A slew of ruminative rap hits soon followed, including the lovelorn moodiness of “Cigarette”, the reflective “Même les monstres rêvent d’amour” and the string-backed drama of “14 Ailleurs”.
