The Fall: The '90s

In the '80s, The Fall's instantly recognizable sound fused art rock with rockabilly and Krautrock with punk, but in the next decade the post-punk legends experimented. As alternative rock swept America and Britpop ruled the U.K., they toyed with techno and drum 'n' bass. And while these endeavors may have alienated longtime fans, they also produced some of their most accessible material.
