Talking Heads: Best of the '80s

Talking Heads could do no wrong in the '80s. They found stardom after mastering challenging polyrhythms and accessible song structures, and infusing post-punk, Afrobeat, and heavy dance grooves with abstract poetics and sharp-eyed social commentary. They eventually became full-blown pop revolutionaries, with David Byrne channeling paranoia and joy in equal measure.
