Sun Araw: Next Steps

Since 2008, the underground psychedelic explorations of Cameron Stallones, a.k.a. Sun Araw, have travelled to all sorts of places. “A Golden Boot” sees Stallones leaping into the saddle of country music for a disorienting blend of pedal steel and electronic tones, while “Lute and Lyre” floats along like a surf-rock anthem being played on the moon. He even goes full Terry Riley on the celestial nine-minute organ hymn “Lucretius.”
