Written by James Brown, "Think (About It)" was a minor 1972 R&B hit for vocalist Lyn Collins. But in the late-'80s, its hard-hitting drums and funky swagger were used to score a run of hip-hop hits, including the classic party-starter by Rob Base & DJ EZ-Rock. Showing the vitality of the groove, the track's breakbeats were also heartily endorsed by the drum 'n' bass scene.
