Rockfour Essentials

Formed in the late '80s, Rockfour takes its cues from the psychedelic greats of England and the U.S., including Pink Floyd, Love, and The Flaming Lips. But the group proudly flaunts its Israeli influences as well—the inspiration of Shalom Hanoch and Arik Einstein is ever present. Rockfour has long used analogue recording techniques while playing vintage instruments, but its appeal isn't simply nostalgic. The combo writes catchy, fun pop, often sung in English, so it's no surprise that it has successfully launched multiple stateside tours.
