The sort of group that could only come from Canada, Radio Radio make electro-hip-hop infused with a prankster's playfulness and a DJ's sense for beats. They rap in Chiac, an Acadian strain of French that's mixed with elements of English and Aboriginal languages; the results are dense, wordy stews that can leave you laughing or straining to grasp their meaning. They released their debut EP, Télé Télé, in 2007; three years later, they found themselves nominated for the Polaris Prize thanks to sophomore effort Belmundo Regal.
