#OnRepeat

Hip-hop and R&B offer some of the most fluid, dynamic sounds today, true barometers for where the culture is at and where it’s going. This week, headlining #OnRepeat—a playlist chock-full of the hottest new songs we can’t seem to stop playing—is SZA’s “30 for 30,” a Kendrick Lamar collaboration that appears on the singer’s recently released SOS Deluxe: LANA. The former TDE labelmates have a couple of classics under their belt already, namely “All the Stars” from Black Panther: The Album and “luther” from Lamar’s widely acclaimed GNX. So, “30 for 30,” with its easy-to-recognize sample of the 1979 R&B hit “I Call Your Name” by Switch, more than upholds their gold standard. Listen to SZA’s Kendrick Lamar-featuring “30 for 30” on #OnRepeat, and if you hear something you like, add it to your library.
