Oldelaf Essentials

Whether functioning as a social critic and humorist, singer/songwriter or pop star, Oldelaf—aka Olivier Delafosse—has cultivated a fervent fanbase with his brand of undeniably fun but touching chanson. After moving to Paris to pursue music, he began charming fans in 2000 as half of Oldelaf et Monsieur D., a duo formed with comedian Frédéric Draps that lasted 10 years. Following this, Oldelaf released his debut solo album, Le Monde Est Beau. The title song pairs social critique with a foot-tapping beat, while "Les mains froides" shows off his romantic side with sweetly poignant lyrics.
