In the early '90s, Isaac Brock and co. emerged as scrappy lo-fi rockers, capturing isolation and desolation with fervour. From their debut, "Dramamine" is a moody, sprawling piece brightened by ringing guitar, an instrument that would help Brock shape his existential musings into hypnotizing hooks ("Never Ending Math Equation") and jittery grooves ("Tiny Cities Made of Ashes").
