Shimmering piano resides at the heart of his music, as he explores subtle shifts in cycling melodies that connect the fragility of Erik Satie with the minimalism of Philip Glass. But he’s steadily expanded his palette, and on 2020 album FLUR he blends a more introspective, exploratory approach with avant-garde piano preparations and environmental recordings.
