Loud Lary Ajust Essentials

Loud Lary Ajust are energetic representatives for Montreal hip-hop. Composed of rappers Loud and Lary (born Simon Cliche Trudeau and Laurent Fortier-Brassard) plus producer Ajust (Alex Guay), the group uses Quebec’s signature Franglais dialect. They fuse hyperactive flows with surrealistic, retro production and themes of the paper-chasing that accompanies life in the fast lane. They emerged in 2012 with Gullywood, an LP laced with electronic beats and acrobatic flows containing couplets about ephemeral highs and their lives as outcasts. For tracks like 2016’s “RSVP,” they revel in their luxury, cruising over a retro beat for a reflection on the high life. With sleek beats and pummelling charisma, Loud Lary Ajust have etched their name into Canadian rap history.
