Los Yonic's Essentials

Among the pioneers of the Grupero style, this stalwart collective have been bringing their signature pop to the world since 1975. They rose to prominence with a multi-faceted approach, performing both lively tropical pop and heartfelt ballads, and accordingly, found a fanbase beyond the borders of their native Mexico, particularly in California, where their music is revered by the Hispanic community. Founder and frontman Jose Manuel Zamacona passed in 2021, but his legacy is secure, as the band continue to take the impassioned likes of "Y Te Amo" and "Palabras Tristes" on the road globally.
