Though he's technically a stand-up comic, Lewis Black is best known for his sit-down rants on The Daily Show, where he's often seen pounding the desk and screaming himself hoarse as he lays into the inanities and hypocrisies of American politics. His live sets are a touch less histrionic and a lot more profane, but equally vicious in their critiques. Whether mocking the South's bloodlust for firearms on “Gun Control” or laying down new laws for fat-cat corporations on “Greed,” Black fearlessly broaches hot-button current events like a fed-up TV anchorman who's torn up his script to let you know what he really thinks.
