An institution of Quebec rock for over 25 years, Les Respectables prove that the key to longevity lies in being open not only to power chords but also to sounds that fall well outside of the form. This long-running Quebec City band does roots rock par excellence, but they are wily enough to mix in furious punk outbursts, blazing upstrokes of reggae, New Wave synth squiggles, even a dash of Cubanismo to keep things fresh.
