Koriass: Influences

As Montreal's mouthiest MC, Koriass is naturally drawn to righteously indignant rappers like Kendrick Lamar and Run the Jewels. But his intricate beatscapes share a cinematic quality with the jazz-hop odysseys of BADBADNOTGOOD and the avant-R&B of FKA twigs. And given the emotional quality of his lyrics, it's perhaps no surprise he likes to chill to the sad-eyed indie rock of Andy Shauf.
