Kompakt: Trance

In the early '00s, the legendary German techno label Kompakt reintroduced the sound of trance to the underground dance scene. Sometimes referred to as "neo-trance," the Kompakt sound combines the soaring melodies of classic trance with the intricate rhythms of minimal techno, and this collection features experimental-yet-uplifting tracks from The Field, Kaito, Gui Boratto, and Aril Brikha.
