The producer, director, and all-around Bollywood hit factory known as KJo specializes in romantic melodramas punctuated by high-concept, emotionally lavish musical numbers. Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik's moving "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" is set in the verdant hills of Scotland, while Sonu Nega and Yagnik's Middle Eastern-flavoured "Suraj Hua Maddham" takes the film's dancing (and lip-syncing) stars to the Great Pyramid of Giza. "Let's Nacho" ignites a quirky dance craze in a heavily choreographed nightclub, and Rahet Fateh Ali Khan sends "Sajda" aloft on the strength of his soaring qawwali voice.
