Jordan Feliz may have won over CCM fans with an indie-folk-inspired smash, 2015’s “The River,” but that was only the beginning for an artist who has since gone on to defy easy categorization. The Californian is a versatile singer/songwriter who can pour deeply personal expressions of faith and family into a wide variety of styles. The hit “Glorify,” featuring TobyMac and Terrian, lifts the spirits with a hip-hop bounce and a gospel choir. Then there’s “Witness,” which smashes together soul and dance pop and, like so much in his catalogue, sounds every bit as catchy as anything on the secular charts.
